Terms of Service

The ground rules for using this site and working with us.

These terms apply to this website and to the services offered on it by Transformative Listening (“we,” “us”), run by Ilya Parizhsky and Julia Ellis. By using the site or booking a session, you agree to them.

What we are, and aren’t

Transformative Listening is relationship coaching and education. It is not psychotherapy, counseling, mental health treatment, or medical care, and nothing on this site or in a session should be taken as such. We are not acting as your therapists. If you are in crisis, in physical danger, or dealing with an untreated addiction, please contact appropriate emergency or professional support; our work is not a substitute for it.

Who can work with us

You must be 18 or older. Sessions are for couples where both partners are willing to participate and the relationship is physically safe.

Applications and booking

Submitting an application does not guarantee a session. We review every application and decide whether we believe we can help. If we accept your application, we’ll send booking and payment instructions. Your session is confirmed when payment is received.

Fees, rescheduling, and refunds

The Relationship Breakthrough Session is $3,000 for a three-hour private session on Zoom. If you need to reschedule, let us know as early as possible and we’ll find another time. At the end of your session, if you don’t feel it was worth the investment, tell us and we’ll refund the full amount. The refund request must come from you during or at the close of the session itself.

Your responsibilities

Show up on time, together, in a private space with a working connection. Be honest with us about your situation, including anything that might affect your safety or your partner’s. What you do with what you learn is your responsibility; you are the experts on your own relationship and your own decisions.

Confidentiality

What you share with us in a session stays with us, with the exceptions required by law (for example, risk of serious harm to a person). We don’t record sessions without your consent. Please don’t record them without ours.

Results

Every relationship is different. The stories on this site are real and shared with permission, and they describe those couples’ experiences, not a promise about yours. We don’t guarantee any particular outcome.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for anything arising from the site or our services is limited to the amount you paid us. We aren’t liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Our content

The text, photos, and materials on this site belong to us. You’re welcome to share links; please don’t copy or republish without permission.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
